The Private Collectors Club is a seclusive gathering of passionate collectors and adventurous cosmopolites from around the world
To its members, the club offers extraordinary experiences and unique insights into private collections of historical automobiles, art, wine and other valuables. The number of members is limited and only accessible via application or personal recommendation. The club focuses on people - classic car enthusiasts, private collectors and connoisseurs, interesting personalities and nobility -, individual experiences, joie de vivre, pleasure and little adventures.

The Private Collectors Club visiting Régis Mathieu in the South of France
His eyes sparkle like polished facets as Régis Mathieu looks at the chandelier, which once was created for Madame Pompadour. It was designed in 1750 and decorated with numerous symbols of love. For two years, he single - handedly worked on the fine reedition and made the masterpiece the favorite piece of his unique collection.
When he took over his parents’ business from Marseille, which was specialized in the industrial production of lamps, in his early twenties, no one could have known that he would become the only expert for the restoration of historical chandeliers worldwide a quarter of a century later. He gave the precious hanging items in the Hall of Mirrors of Versailles, in the Assemblée National, and in the palaces of the Maharajah in the north of India a new sparkle.
The members of The Private Collectors Club meet in select groups during individually designed classic car tours all over the world.
During these tours the members gain glimpses behind otherwise locked doors of private art and classic car collections, attractions, castles and forts, vineyards and exotic experiences with a special enchantment. What makes The Private Collectors Club so special, is the members’ opportunity to voice their very own wishes and expectations, which are considered by the club during the organization of an unforgettable tour.
The guardian lion in his function as a door-knocker is the club‘s key symbol. He protects not only the private members, but also the secrets and collectibles behind the door.
The guardian lion is an ancient symbol with meaning to many different cultures. Traditionally he stood in front of Imperial palaces, Imperial tombs, temples and the homes of the wealthy and were believed to have powerful mythic protective benefits.
